In conjunction with the ENAT 2nd International Conference on accessible tourism, the Global Alliance on Accessible Technologies and Environments (GAATES) presented Mr. Mohammed Tarawneh Chair of the UN Committee on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities with a special GAATES Award of Recognition in honour of his outstanding leadership and dedication to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The ENAT Code of Good Conduct is a commitment label and certification scheme for tourism businesses and organisations, recognising their efforts to promote accessible travel and tourism.

In the run-up to the ENAT International Congress in Vienna, the ENAT Board announces its "Code of Good Conduct" commitment label for accessible tourism. Members attending the Congress will be able to sign-up on the spot and receive their certificates personally from ENAT President, Lilian Müller, on 1st October.

The EU Commits to Sustainable and Responsible Tour

For example how far it is from the car park to the entrance, whether there is a hearing loop and how wide the door to the room is,” explains the hotel chain’s Disability Ambassador Magnus Berglund.
